Sailor Loot is what Virgin Voyages calls onboard credit.  It may be spent while onboard for most spa, premium beverage, treat yourself, casino,

and gift shop purchases.

Bar Tab is a pre-loaded, use-it-or-lose-it amount which may be spent onboard to purchase premium beverages only, including beer, wine, cocktails, fresh pressed juices, and specialty coffees and teas.  After bar tab is exhausted, sailor loot will apply to any premium drinks.  After both bar tab and sailor loot are exhuasted, premium beverages will be charged to your onboard account.
